I can reinstall it and maybe try running it in a console and see what the issue is, but as far as I can tell, it's just bypassing/connecting the DRM to the server which is my main issue (Running it purely with Steam+Proton). I had a go at installing it with Lutris but that was even more-so uneventful (forgive me, I fail to remember what happened but the abridged version is, it didn't work).

I had started the game using Lutris previously, and my Proton session is able to find that cloud save and run from there, so maybe that's where our experience Thanks for the reply
